…cold and warm and cold and warm and cold again
What month in Iowa has more variable weather than March? On Monday we enjoyed a high temperature of 65 degrees. The Jefferson police reported proved it was weather to be outdoors – there were several calls about loud mufflers and revved engines. That doesn’t happen in the cold of winter when folks are indoors and windows are closed.
On Tuesday we had a bitter cold wind that sent us back to the hunched-shoulder posture of January and February. The photo showing 63 degrees was taken Thursday, but Saturday evening it snowed wet, heavy flakes.
March…in like a lion (yep, yep), out like a lamb (oh, we hope so!), with some bipolar behavior in between. There’s nothing boring about Iowa weather!
